Our Story
The Global Kurdish Young Professionals Society is established to encourage and change the lives of Kurdish youth by providing personal and professional development opportunities. Global KYPS aims to bring to the forefront a more progressive, accomplished, and enlightened younger generation of Kurdish people who will be the representatives and leaders of their communities and who will contribute positively towards the wider society.
Dr Hewa Balisane
Dr Balisane is an assistant professor of computer science, he has worked as dean of the Faculty of Education at Soran University for more than five years and now works as a senior university lecturer and a higher education consultant in the private sector.
Dr Balisane is the co-founder of the Global Kurdish Young Professionals Society and president. He will be providing his vision and leadership in driving forward the objects of the society and in doing so contributing towards helping many young people become successful in their lives and professional careers.
Dr Zryan Sadik
Dr Sadik is a dynamic academic actively involved in research within the fields of Financial Mathematics and Data Analytics. Currently, he serves as a quantitative analyst and researcher for a prominent financial services company in the UK. His expertise lies in leveraging news sentiment data to tackle various financial challenges. Furthermore, he holds a prominent position as one of the lead faculty members for the Certificate In Sentiment Analysis And Alternative Data For Finance (CSAF) course at QuantInsti.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Dr Sadik is also the co-founder and chairman of the Global Kurdish Young Society. With extensive experience in professional society environments, he will be spearheading many of the society’s initiatives and taking a pivotal role in overseeing educational programs.
